March 4th 2026 HOA Meeting
The secret voter ballots were counted for approving the new CC&Rs etc. 135 Owners approved the updated documents; this represents a majority approval. This ends a 4 year process to bring our documents in alignment with the State of California requirements. Cake and drinks to celebrate!

January 2026 HOA Board Meeting Awards
Volunteers of the Year: Mark presented the plaque with our 2025 awardees engraved. Patty Newlan has been our Bingo Coordinator for many years. She has recently taken on other projects such as Craft Fairs and special Bingo events. These fundraisers have been very successful in raising money for our Clubhouse. Elsy Mattson is a longstanding member of Sunny Glen and is our volunteer pool tester. You can also see her passing out newsletters and other fliers to our residents. We also acknowledged Brian Cotton who was last year’s winner and finally received his name on the plaque. Congratulations to Patty, Elsy and Brian.



DECMBER 12TH, 2025 HOLIDAY PARTY
Italian food and live music created the atmosphere for a fun time. Members won the lovely table centerpieces from the included raffle. The deserts were scrumptious.















OCTOBER 24TH HALLOWEEN POT LUCK DINNER








SEPTEMBER 13TH PIZZA/BINGO FUNDRAISER
We had 50 folks enjoying good food and bingo & we raised $700+ for the big TV purchase that was not in our budget. A fun time was had by all!






JULY 4TH BBQ SOCIAL EVENT
We had a lovely social event which was attended by approx. 70 folks. Besides the great hamburgers, hotdogs, chips and ice cream – we had bocci, horseshoe toss, cornhole and shuffleboard games for all to play.

At our January 2025 Board meeting, BRIAN COTTON was was presented with our 2024 Sunny Glen distinguished volunteer award for his ongoing work with Building Maintenance and his cooking skills at our social functions! He is always ready to help the HOA.

SPRING CRAFT FAIR – APRIL 26TH

June 2024:

The Sunny Glen Annual Garage Sale will be held on Saturday, July 6th, from 8 AM to 2PM. Townhouse members can bring their items on tables set up in the Clubhouse front parking area.
The ACS “big trash” pickup is scheduled for Friday July 12th, so unwanted items can be disposed if so inclined.
At our February 2024 Board meeting, Ann Atwood was presented with our 2023 Sunny Glen distinguished volunteer award for her fundraising dinner for the flooded homes and for her social community dinner.

January: Fruit Rescue info;
Too much fruit in your backyard? We will gladly harvest it and take it to the food bank. Contra Costa Fruit Rescue started harvesting in January 2023 and has gleaned 54,211lbs of fruit for distribution to those in need. If you would like to be added to our list of fruit donors, click on this link to register your tree(s). You may register trees at any time of the year, even if they are not yet ready.
And yes, you get a receipt for tax purposes. Spread the word to your friends and neighbors and help us grow! Look for our harvests on Eventbrite (search for ‘fruit rescue’) and on the Forestr.org website. Contra Costa Fruit Rescue is a project of ForestR.org
January, 2024: Reminder: The AARP Tax-Aide volunteers do free tax filings for Seniors. They do not cover Rentals or Business losses, but cover most other items. They are located in the San Ramon Senior Center (925-973-3250) on Wednesdays and in the Danville Veteran Center (925-272-0902) on Tuesdays and in the Dublin Library (925-803-7252) on Saturdays.
